This bamboo tea tray is used for traditional Chinese tea brewing (Gongfu Brewing). The primary function of the tea tray is to serve as a basin for excess water from the tea brewing process. A cherry blossom is carved into the tray. Cherry blossom symbolizes beauty and strength.
